A Mother’s Day Celebration of Creativity & Community
A relaxed community pop-up filled with flowers, creativity, music and meaningful moments inside the new Framed studio.
This Mother’s Day weekend, we welcomed the community into our new space for our very first Framed community event — a relaxed pop-up designed for families to drop in, explore the space and spend some meaningful time together.
What was planned as a small community event quickly turned into a packed and incredibly special day, and we’re honestly still a little overwhelmed by the response.
Throughout the day, families gathered throughout the space for a range of complimentary activities - from creating pressed floral frames, making handmade cards, enjoying live music, getting family portraits taken, and simply slowing down to spend time together within the space. Guests could also choose addon activities, explore locally made gifts for mum, and enjoy sweet treats and drinks while wandering through the studio.
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was seeing the space come to life exactly as we had hoped — not simply as a retail showroom, but as a place where people could gather, create, connect and experience creativity in a hands-on and meaningful way.
The event also marked the beginning of what we hope will become an ongoing series of creative community events within the space, as we collaborate with O&W Studio and The Art Hive to build a creative hub together in the heart of Bunbury.
We were genuinely touched by how many people came along — many visiting the space for the very first time — and by the warmth and encouragement shown throughout the day.
Events like this are exactly why we created this new space.
For years, we dreamed of having room not only for printing and framing, but for exhibitions, workshops, gatherings and creative experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways. Seeing families filling the studio, creating memories and engaging with local creatives reminded us exactly why that vision matters.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring the day to life, including O&W Studio, The Art Hive, Carly Halls Photography, Enchanted Petals, Balance Bakes & Bowls, Janice Florczyk Art, Pink Friday Events, Helen Louise Music and Cuprum Distillery for helping create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the community.
We’d also like to sincerely thank the City of Bunbury for supporting the event and helping make days like this possible.
To everyone who came along — thank you for helping us begin this next chapter in such a beautiful way.
