Framed Launch Night

A night celebrating creativity, community and the beginning of a new shared creative space in the heart of Bunbury.

After months of planning, renovating, painting, building and imagining what this space could become, we officially opened the doors to Framed.

Launch night marked the coming together of three long-standing creative brands — Southern Picture Framers, Fred Snow Print Shop and The Photography Boutique — under one evolving vision, while also celebrating the beginning of a broader collaborative creative hub alongside O&W Studio and The Art Hive.

More than simply launching a new showroom, the night represented the beginning of a shared creative space built around connection, collaboration and community — something we’ve dreamed about creating for a very long time.

Throughout the evening, the showroom was filled with conversation, familiar faces and an overwhelming sense of support from the community around us. We were genuinely blown away by the turnout and by the response to the new space, with so many people taking the time to celebrate this next chapter alongside us.

It was also incredibly special to welcome Jaysen de San Miguel to the launch and to share the broader vision for what this space has the potential to become over the years ahead, and how our own vision for Framed fits within the broader future of Bunbury as a growing, creative and connected city.

From the very beginning, this move was never just about creating a larger retail space. For years, we’ve dreamed about building something more expansive — a place that could support the artists, photographers and creatives we work with not only through printing and framing, but through exhibitions, workshops, events and shared creative experiences. In our previous spaces, we simply didn’t have the room to do that in the way we had imagined.

This new studio has allowed us to design intentionally for that future.

For us personally, this project has also represented a genuine leap of faith — a decision to invest not only in our own future, but in the future of the creative community we’ve been part of for so many years.

We’ve always believed Bunbury deserves spaces where creativity can be shared, experienced and supported in meaningful ways, and this new home has finally given us the opportunity to begin building that vision properly.

At its heart, Framed is still grounded in the work we’ve always loved most: helping people preserve meaningful moments, honour creative work and bring stories into the physical world through printing and framing. But now, for the first time, we also have the space to bring people together around that work.

Launch night felt like the beginning of that next chapter.

To everyone who came along, supported us through the transition, collaborated on the space, or has trusted us with their stories and creative work over the years — thank you. Your support means more than we can say.

We’re incredibly excited for what’s ahead.

Welcome to Framed.
